Hitch Hero Soft Shackle

The Hitch Hero is a soft shackle with a guarded sleeve, so it does the two jobs a regular soft shackle can't: it rigs straight into a 2 inch hitch receiver, no hitch shackle and no pin, and it wraps around rough metal, an A-arm, a frame rail or a roll cage, without the edge chewing through. Grey side of the sleeve against the metal.

Same UHMWPE rope and hand-spliced knot as our standard soft shackle, same ratings per size, 34 inches long so it passes through a receiver and closes around the tube.

Sizes and minimum break strength

• 3/8": 36,000 lb, pairs with the 3/4" rope
• 7/16": 41,000 lb, pairs with the 7/8" rope
• 1/2": 58,000 lb, pairs with the 1" and 1.25" ropes

The Ultimate and Titan kits ship with Hitch Heros sized to the rope. Never pull harder than your receiver is rated for; most receivers aren't rated for a hard kinetic tug, and a rated recovery point is always the better anchor.

In the box: one Hitch Hero in a small green storage bag, plus two stickers.

Every shackle is pull-tested to failure by an independent lab in California before we publish a rating. Lifetime warranty under proper use, within the published service life, which starts the day it's shipped.
